Cacoa Chocolate Bar

They must have made this place just for me! A real, authentic Chocolate Bar!!

THANK YOU again for all your support and good wishes for Mr G. He is out of the hospital and feeling much better. The kidney stone problem seems to be under control and he has no pain.

Mr G has never had sugar problems before and so this new diagnosis has come as a bit of a shock. We still need some more time to digest the D word. It is quite scary and unknown territory. There are so many things going through my mind right now. Questions, fears, uncertainty ...

I mean here I am worrying about what he is allowed to eat and I am busy eating chocolate fondue! We take so much for granted in our day to day lives. I know there are going to be many changes and the whole family will have to do it together. They will be good changes, but I know it won't be so easy.

Sorry to go on a bit here. I think this week's events have caught up with me. I am feeling tired but I am sure after a good nights sleep I will be ready to tackle this new challenge.

"joy and sorrow are inseparable. . . together they come and when one sits alone with you . . remember that the other is asleep upon your bed."
~ Khalil Gibran

My Joy Today:
~ Having my Darling home with us tonight.
~ Knowing that for every bad day there is a good one.
~ Delicious Belgian chocolate fondue with strawberries, bananas, brownies, kiwi fruit and marshmallows to dip.
~ Watching a lekker South African movie, Material.

(My joy was brief but it tasted good!)
