Rickerby’s roadblock...

Wet, very wet, all day.
A 4 bike rodeo this morning to try and get 7 bulls in from the field to take out to various fields of cows. Didn’t go exactly to plan though. They started playing silly buggers so we only managed to get 4 in. Once I had carted them out with the tractor and trailer we tried to get the other 3 in. The Blonde got himself wound up and was facing up the bikes ready to have a go so we abandoned ship and will need to try them another day. Once they get to that stage it starts to get very dangerous and in a confrontation between a man on a quad bike and over a ton of enraged Beef there is only ever going to be one winner !
This was Rickerby’s artic lorry delivering a new feeder trailer as the one we have is 20 odd years old and on its last legs.
It was easier to off load at the road end , luckily we had missed rush hour so didn’t cause any hold ups !
