Sunshine on a Rainy Day

My tree in the front garden always blossoms at this time of year. I am sure I have said before, it was one of the reasons for buying the house. It's glorious colour against the grey skies make my heart skip a beat. Add to that a Rainy Day and the petals take on a paper thin quality which I adore.

A girls - well me - only road trip to Glasgow today to deliver my girl's new phone. I love being in the car on a road I know with music I know and belting out the tunes. Although I am thinking that perhaps my Fiat Punto could do with a spot on 'Pimp My Ride'.

What a great day of not much really but colour, smiles and happiness. Talking of which if you haven't already seen Tom Fletcher's wedding speech then you just have to YouTube it. Gentlemen of a certain age should certainly be looking in. Who said we have nothing to learn from youth?
