Enjoying The Moment

Halloween, before I retired Clare and the children carved the pumpkin(s) and went ‘Trick or Treating’, for me it was annoying, Children at the door constantly all evening.
This year I decided to get into the spirit of things, pumpkin carving kit to hand I set to, I may have been a bit over ambitious with the first effort, so I lowered my sights and went for something simpler. The three ‘Booty Bags’ of sweets are virtually all gone and I answered the door all evening, well up until 8pm with Clare smiling to herself on each occasion.
