Everest Base Camp

Today we began our trek to Everest Base Camp...12 days return. Porters are an important aspect of this part of the world - as there are no roads supplying the tea houses / villages along the trek. Not only porters carrying trekking gear, but also porters carrying food/supplies/housing equipment, follow this very tough himalayan trail.
