Kathmandu

Today we finally arrived in Kathmandu! What a fabulous place...busy, polluted, stunning, frustrating and wonderful, all wrapped into one!

We spent the day at Durbar Square, visiting the many Hindu temples. After that we enjoyed a hard-earned (well, not really) beer on one of the rooftop bars. Kathmandu has a population of around 3 million people....all crammed between the surrounding mountains.

It will be great to escape the hustle and bustle tomorrow, when we start our trek!
