Nothing To Shield It From The Rain :(

A miserable, dull and wet morning. I spotted this green shieldbug, covered with droplets and clinging to a blade of grass. Quite an unusual position for this sort of bug. These bugs change from bright green to bronze in the winter.

I only had my old Canon 100-400 mm lens with me and unfortunately it doesn't have the macro-like capability of the Mark II. That lens of mine has been sent back by my insurance company to Canon after a failed repair. I'm still waiting to hear the verdict. :(
