Christ Church

This tower is actually part of a former church which was originally consecrated on July 27 1852 but was unfortunately destroyed by "enemy action" on May 17 1942!
As with many areas along the south coast -Folkestone suffered huge losses during WW2 -at least in this case the bell tower and clock remain!
