Halloween Witches

A fairly calm day, and mostly sunny.  Breezy this evening, and showers.

Another day working on the museum desk, and another quiet day.  They Grayson Perry pots arrived today, with the opening of the exhibition tomorrow.  After work I finished off the Halloween decorations, and waited for guizers to appear.  Dad, big Brian and Madeline all popped by for a cuppa this evening.   Now time for a scary movie and feet up.

I've had a busy evening of guizers!  I had 56 peerie folk, not including parents.  Well mannered, some great jokes and entertainment for their treat.  They loved all the scary decorations in the garden, especially the witches.  I'm already thinking about next year's new addition.  Scalloway has always been known for witches, thankfully these won't be burned at the stake.  Thank goodness the masks arrived on time!  Taken in Hawthorn Cottage garden, gHoul Road, Scalloween.
