Mr. J. Daniels

This statue of Mr. Jack Daniels is outside the cavern from which all the water that makes his whiskey flows. The young lady who showed us around the distillery was very knowledgeable and had tons of statistics at her fingertips. I have now managed to forget nearly all of them. One thing I do recall is they make their own barrels but only use them once. They are then shipped all over the world to help make Scotch and Irish whiskey as well as to Mexico for tequila and strangely somewhere in the southern states of the USA to make a hot chili sauce
Today is the last day of living by the creek, tomorrow we move on to Memphis to see Elton John at the FedEx stadium.
