Canigou in the clouds

I went to the market early as I had a meeting later in the morning.  I stocked up with a few things to take back to the UK including fresh dates and anchovies.  I spent quite a while making phone calls and sending emails to sort out the insurance for the water damage in the storm.  The roof should now be waterproof again after the gutters were cleared of moss and sand but the builder says it requires a new roof as the tiles are cracked and porous.  I have a builder friend coming round to check whether it is that bad.  I had to have a new roof due to termite damage just before we moved several years ago and I could do without that expense again!
