Late afternoon (Day 1634)
The wind and rain woke me early this morning, and I lurked in bed waiting for daylight and hoping the rain would stop.
When I finally took the woofers up the hill, I was lucky to avoid a soaking.
With the weather looking grim for the day, my beautiful wife and I decided it would be a good opportunity to clean out the barn at the yard. I have spent pretty much the whole day pressure washing the floor, removing years of stuck on cow, sheep and horse poop. HV zoomed up and down scooping slurry off the floor and into a wheelbarrow and dumping it on the midden. Not the most exciting of days, but well worth the effort. We stopped late in the afternoon to get the horses out of the field for a check over and a bucket of feed. The sky was lovely after a day of showers.
