Odd One Out

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

The Eldest Mini Princess occasionally mocks IT people and asks ‘does everyone in your department wear Star Wars t-shirts?’

Admittedly there are quite a few. The Boss has an extensive collection of Star Wars t-shirts. One colleague has a storm trooper helmet and another has the full outfit.

I was taking the mickey out of The Boss today for conforming to this stereotype (as he was making coffee in his Star Wars mug) when one of the guys interrupted with ‘well. really it’s you that’s the outlier for working in IT and not being like the rest of us.’

OMG, in the world of IT, I’m the weirdo! Who knew?!
