Doesn’t Add Up

Dermott started talking about a work issue today and declared ‘that ‘a problem shared is a problem halved.’

I pointed out when his shared problem becomes my problem, then the only thing that’s halved is my happiness. He laughed. But it’s definitely true!

We watched the bake-off semi final tonight. One of the contestants, Alice was making a coral reef cake as her showstopper and very innocently said she was making a ‘chocolate starfish.’ I almost spat out my tea.

Then I had to explain it to The Mini Princesses!
