Spray can fun
All the projects I'm working on at the moment are at various design & planning stages which involve me beavering away in the studio on my own. So I thought I'd take the chance to visit a mate of mine at his current project. Wayne from thefifthroom not only designs lovely gardens but he builds them as well.
Today he was working in a front garden in Portobello, the seaside just outside Edinburgh. The garden's been cleared & they're just at the marking out stage. That's one of my favourite parts of the build, when the clients can start to see exactly how the space will look. There are loads of great design ideas in this garden - reusing old Edinburgh cobbles, sedum-roofed bike & bin stores and Cor-ten steel edged lawn. Will look forward to seeing how it turns out.
Now I've had my little bit of human contact today, I can get back to the dry & warmth of the studio and on with the ever increasing stack of things to do.
