Storm defences

Every year since moving here I have wondered how these storm blocks are installed. On my run this morning I found out. One lorry, one human operator and one hydraulic lift craning two concrete blocks at a time to keep the storm surges at bay - hopefully! They will be here until April. A good meeting at HMP Edinburgh to review our voluntary work there at lunchtime followed by a very productive home admin afternoon.
