scaffold for commerce

Walk into town to admire the efforts to expand the celebration of commerce. Don't get me wrong I do like Christmas Markets but this is exploiting the city. I read a good suggestion, what about moving the Christmas Market to the Castle Esplanade. Plenty space there. Or what about the Grassmarket (after closing it to traffic)? Or what about multiple markets. For example in Berlin you get lots of different Christmas Markets ranging from the top end where you have to pay an entry fee to browse (and purchase if you are rich) luxury items to a wee stall where you can drink your beer under a Christmas tree.

I did go for a nice walk through the gallery. Loved the painting of the dog with a dead rat. The gallery is expanding (see extra). At least it's not another hotel.
