Peebles Hydro

Peebles Hydro is quite a land mark in this area. It sits on the hillside just to the east of the town. The building dates from 1907 (although there was another dating from 1881 but it burned down) and has since that time been offering water cures and hydro-therapy..and more recently contemporary spa treatments and hotel facilities! The grounds of the hotel were used as a hospital for injured service personnel during World War II.

Still feeling mild with some brightness, although its forecast to get colder, possibly with snow arriving by the end of the weekend.
