A proper PA

That was the compliment I received from the boss of my company today.  Everyone was over for the launch event and he said had been told so many things about me by different people and that I was obviously a 'proper PA'.

One guy came to sign in but didn't have a name badge but I recognised him straight away ... as someone I went to primary school with!  Got a huge hug, his business card and an offer to go for lunch.  

It's exhausting working a room for 3 hours but it went really well and seemed to be well received - despite running out of beer and only realising an hour before the event that we didn't have a bottle opener!  Better to work it out with an hour to go then when you try to open that first bottle.  Would love a rest tomorrow but the hard work never seems to stop.  Still, my face is getting recognised within the firm now so that's never a bad thing when you're trying to create a good first impression :)

I got off the tram just before 9 pm and realised I hadn't taken a photo for the day so a look over my shoulder will have to do for today.
