Day 7

Day 7.....time to go home....We were greeted by the twins at 7.10 with cuddles in bed. Breakfast, get dressed then time for a game of Donuts before school as they were ready well ahead of time. Colin and I went out for the morning after dropping them at school and had lunch out. It was gorgeous weather and hard to believe it’s nearly end of October. We sat outside for lunch and didn’t need coats! When we got home Nic and Joy had arrived and so it was cuppa tea time! The children came home from school and after some playtime consisting of Rubiks Cubes Ime wanted to help make some sandwiches for their tea. She is very capable and Bailey and she enjoyed their “dainty! sandwiches! Soon it was time for us to go. Nic took us to the station to get the train to Southampton Airport. The sky blackened as we arrived at the station. No rain arrived. It’s been really special making memories with the grandchildren. Not sure when we’ll see them again.
