Wednesday

Took Mum up to the Eye Pavilion for her eye operation this morning. Afterwards had a coffee and a wander for a blip.

Home, pottered, coloured, watched tv until Mum phoned at 4pm to go and get her. With  a patch over one eye and only half vision in her other eye I took her home. Had a fish supper, then left. The patch comes off tomorrow. 
The local anaesthetic didn't seem to work to it fullest as she felt quite a lot and saw every instrument that came towards her.
