Not for the step counters!

While I fully respect the sentiment in this sign at Brunstane station I also thought it had a gentle irony too. We actually walked 5.5 miles around Newhailes NTS Estate and used part of The John Muir Way to get there. The cloud never lifted as we walked but the autumn leaves were still inspiring. A productive morning of desk work. An evening when we are both at home to catch up on some autumn tv drama. A welcome respite from Westminster!
