Intentional Double

I really enjoy trying to create double exposures with my Olympus camera, but I am finding it much more difficult than using a menu setting that allows doubles.  Choosing the right background photo and 2nd shot are not as easy as one might guess.  Too much dominance by one or the other is one of my frequent concerns.
