'A Little Odd..........?

For this time of year?????
Been wondering what the Red that was appearing on the back garden wall was.......
And when I went down this morning this is what I found.......??
Is it not a little strange for this time of year???
Was going to prune the rest of my roses...this being the best time of year for that job!
But I think I'll just tidy this one up and see what happens........!

Thank you for all the lovely comments about the 'cake'.....it was delicious...
Kitty didn't have any....he said he'd prefer the left-over roast chicken.......!
He's just been out in the garden with me (tripping me up!)....but it's too cold and very dreary to stay out.....despite having a lovely frosty bright morning to start with.......(was on the early train run...Son doing his first teacher training exams.)
So, disappointing now it's so dull...even looks like it might rain.....(again)...!
