Watch The Birdie

I met up very early this morning with RobBris50 to grab a sunrise over Bristol. Rob brought out his large plate camera that takes an age to set up and with a photo negative at £5 a time and developing on top is a far cry from digital and harks back to the early days of photography.  The main photo' is of Rob using this large film format camera for the first time - quite a thing to use - and watch. I called in a favour from a birdie friend (honest, I haven't put it there).

The extra is one I like of Cumberland Basin. beautiful colours and reflections.

We had a good walk around Bristol harbour and visited a couple of coffee shops enjoying the nice weather for a few hours. A lovely start to the day.

I'm just off to my granddaughters 2nd Birthday party this afternoon.
