Littles & Large!

A beautiful start to the day, fresh, bright , sunny blue sky! Drove up & down dale through Grosent & Egton to Goathland ( Heartbeat country!) some of you may remember this tv series from some years ago!
Parked in the village, walked down to Mallayan Spout , path was very muddy after yesterday morning ‘s rain ! Then over to Beck Hole & back to Goathland, a popular walk , met quite a few fellow walkers & a few sheep!
Returning to Whitby, mussels & a glass of vino & an ice cream for lunch ! Walked to the end of the pier, watched the guys fishing & these delightful wee red shanks & The bully herring gull came to see what was going on!!
Dinner was very good too.!
A very good day .... on the road again tomorrow !
