Blue beyond!

Lovely sunrise lulled into false start ..... rain arrived by 0900!
Drove over to Robin Hood’s Bay just as we parked up rain became heavier downpour! By the time I’d laced my walking boots it cleared up! Downhill to the village ( there’s been a lot of up & down hills today!) it’s a delightful village ! Coffee first stop then onto NTS exhibition & shop. We then walked along the beach , tide was way out. After a bite to eat we puffed back up hill browsing in the lovely wee shops. Into the car to drive to Staithes, another delightful village , again parking is up on the hilltop & only local vehicles in the village. Set off down the hill , strolled through the street, sun had appeared by now, beautiful light in the cliffs & the houses, an ice cream to give us energy in the puff up hill again! .... rude not to!
Back into Whitby, dinner in a lovely restaurant on the waterfront !
