Celebration Rose

I was given this rosebush by some friends on the occasion of my 60th birthday celebrations few years ago now. It's a beautiful bright rose and it is surviving so far.  I was pleased to see it still blooming in October.

The finger went to see the nurse again today and she was quite pleased with the way the infection is going.  She wants to keep the dressings on and will see it again at the end of next week.  I have official dispensation now to apply the dressings!  What responsibility!

Rob says it's beginning to feel a little better but is still not fit enough to drill holes in walls...
