Purple And Green

A miserable rainy morning - the highlight of which was going for my winter ‘flu jab. Yay. Also made a batch of roasted butternut squash and red pepper soup. Flavoured slightly with Chinese five spice powder.

Rain stopped late morning so I nipped out with Finlay for our walk - passing this ‘for sale’ sign and green door - managed to get the word ‘purple’ in my blip. The light was poor so the colours not especially bright

Continuing the October colour blitz theme - it is definitely colourful.

Also came a fabulous group of fungi clustered round a tree stump in someone's front garden (see extra). I have never seen them there before and wondered if they were spawned to help rot the tree
