Soup combo with my favourites: seaweed & miso

Slurpy, crunchy, strong yet soothing, a big messy bowl of miso soup is made for dreary January days. Threw in some sweet potato, red cabbage, shitake mushrooms, dulse and spring onions. The broth consisted of miso, sesame oil and a dash of tamari.

The weather was quite attractive today. Had a tootle down the road to old market town of Ashbourne in the afternoon through a changing scernery of blanket mist and then sunshine. The wholefood shop was my main objective but had a mooch around for some sale bargains, too: 3 Mitsubushi uni-ball pens for £2.99 was my prize.
