Catching Up

We left Enfield this morning and drove to Oxfordshire to see Miss M in her new home.
It’s been five weeks since we’ve seen her so it was lovely to see her again.
She has a wonderful house with a beautiful kitchen which has a well in the middle of it, turned into a worktop! So many lovely features including a beautiful window in the kitchen door (middle picture).
We went for a walk with the dogs in some local woods and then went out to lunch together in a great little cafe in her village.
There was also time for Mr M to cut her hair, a job I’d been doing recently at home, but he has a steadier hand then me. Parents still come in useful!
Back in Wales tonight. We’ve covered a lot of miles this weekend: Wales to Enfield to Bruges to Enfield to Oxfordshire to Wales.
It’s been fun :)
