Bruges Day 2

Our second day in Bruges. We had some lovely sunshine in the morning to explore a beautiful part of the city down by the river. So pretty.
Most of the day was spent eating and drinking, none of it healthy. The waffles with caramel sauce and ice cream were amazing. The men sampled some of the local beers with a tasting selection which they enjoyed.
We caught the Eurostar home in the evening and were back in Enfield by 9pm to collect our dogs from friends who had so kindly looked after them for us.
A great weekend - feels like we packed loads into the two days. Would definitely recommend a visit to this beautiful city.
