Belfast Boy
Today we said goodbye to an old friend, from our working days in Manchester.......one of lifes real characters and gentleman.
Full of Irish charm and banter, loved nothing better than a good ol harmless flirt with the girls, his beloved Manchester United, a nice cigar and a good pint, a life well lived.
Devoted to his wife Sharon, who will be somewhat at a loss without him, RIP Ron.
After a lovely service the small gathering adjourned to Singleton Lodge, a favourite of Rons, where we spent time reminiscing and recounting stories of our times with Ron.
After a couple of hours people started to drift away, so we said our farewells.
Luckily I had slung my camera in the back of the car this morning.......so you can imagine how pleased I was to see that the lodge had squirrels, chickens, rabbits and alpacas in its grounds.
This sweet little thing with those gorgeous eyes, maybe "Irish eyes are smiling" is for you Ronnie Rush x
