rainy days

It rained all day, so not many photos taken. We opted to go and do the Lakes distillery tour (as we like their gin) and halved the price by using a groupon voucher. It took a couple of hours and we enjoyed the tasting of their new whisky and latest gin launched just 2 days ago. Opinions were that the gin is a hit (although we preferred the old bottles) but the blended whisky is ordinary. To be fair their first single malt was OK but still lacked much character.

As we left the weather seemed to brighten a little so we went to the lakeside at Keswick for a stroll and the rain kindly stopped for 30 minutes for me to take this photo at the usually popular spot on Derwentwater.
