Shepherd’s delight

It was the end of dig open event this afternoon so I took Mr DA along to have a look as he’s interested in having a go next year. He was quite alarmed by the amount of mud, which was even worse today than it was yesterday, but I reassured him that it’s not often that bad. And, indeed, the rain had stopped and the sun was out while we were there, and as we left there was a marvellous sunset.
