Hydrangeas in a jug

These hydrangeas looked forlorn on their bush on a drizzly day, but I brought them indoors and cut off any shabby leaves and now they look quite good, complementing the copper jug.

Last road trip this afternoon as I will be picking Normous up from hospital where he has been since he was rushed there on Wednesday. He is very much better but may need an operation at some stage. I had thought he would be in hospital for a few days yet, so the message to collect him this afternoon caught me by surprise. Quick tidy up required!
