White rose of York

I was born in Wakefield, so the white Rose is special to me. Sadly I didn't stay in Yorkshire for long, so i am really a Surrey girl.
Today started with my flu jab, a very efficient production line system at the doctor's surgery.
The day improved when the family arrived. They had been at Surrey University checking out the Engineering Department to see if it will be on George's list for September next year. Decisions to be made. Meanwhile we enjoyed a meal together with a lovely buffet starter prepared by Normous, and a main course by me. No dessert, we are all, except George, watching our weight.
