Warm October with hazy skies

I spent some lovely hours with my son on Saturday. We drove up to a place called Mont Pèlerin above the lake for a morning walk before lunch.  When we walked down the hill again, there were great festivities going on with the grape pickers shouting with glee as they dashed past on trucks and tubs full of grapes! We could only guess that it was the celebration of the end of the harvest. They were moving too fast for me to catch them with my camera. They were wearing homemade crowns out of vines! A most joyful experience!

My son left after breakfast this morning. It feels so terrible quiet today!
I have plenty of things to do, but I may just relax and enjoy the lovely sunshine with a walk and then some reading.
