Ephemeral Beauty

Are the most charming of all
transient beauty

I'm getting out as much as possible to embrace these wonderful warm and sunny October days. I know it won't last and that is why it's especially precious.

I could hardly believe that this bush was in such abundant bloom. The leaves are Camellia leaves. I didn't know that they could bloom at this time of the year as well as in early spring, but I did some research and found it to be true! These are called Sasanqua Camellia.
