Out for Afternoon Coffee (On holiday!!!)

A bit wet in the morning, not too bad. Bike ride put off until the afternoon, and it does indeed brighten up. Blue skies. I decide to get afternoon coffee from the Lantern Rouge. I head out to Musselburgh and on to the coast road as far as Longniddry, where I head inland up to Birks Hedges, Samuelston and back roads to Gifford. I have a very nice coffee (fill up with filter coffee) and a sponge cake topped with chocolate. Along the top of the window, aside from the lanterne rouge(s), these cycle caps.

After coffee, it's back on the bike, toward Haddington, then Samuelston heading towards West Saltoun. I stop here to get a shot of East Lothian countryside. The blue skies are behind me, and clouds are rolling in. I carry on home to West Saltoun, Dalkeith and Gilmerton. The temperature has dropped quite a lot by the time  I get home.

The whole ride can be seen at Relive here.
