Autumn or winter?

At times today we couldn’t decide if it felt more like autumn or winter but as my husband wore shorts all day it could’ve been summer!
Took the Hannig cable car then walked to the summit of Gibidum before traveling round to Glacier Lake (see extra) and back to Saab Fée. Stunning glacial scenery all day (see other extra) and we could see the ski slopes in the distance with the telephoto lens. Saw Alpine Choughs and Black Redstarts but no other wildlife.

Back in Saas Fee we were amused to watch the après ski which seemed to consist of jogging around the village wearing Olympic jackets. It seems the top skiers/ snowboarders are preparing for the winter season.
