Saas Fee

We arrived at Saas Fee this afternoon and had a wander around the village. Although there is still plenty hiking in this area at this time of year, the skiing has also started. Europe’s top class skiers are up on the slopes. It seemed bizarre to see people wandering around this car free village with skis whilst my husband was wearing shorts!
There are some amazing old buildings scattered around the village and these two caught my eye.
