Kennet & Avon

One of my big 6-0 presents was a night away in a 'luxury' hotel and so me and Mrs K are spending the weekend near Newbury, Berkshire, not somewhere we've been before. 

We've had a really nice lunch, done some window-shopping (a rare thing to do as we've usually got Millie pups in tow) and had a longboat trip up the Kennet & Avon canal (see extra too) before checking into our hotel - pool and spa facilities available.

This evening we're out for dinner and then off to the theatre, how exciting :-)
