Crossing a salt lake, Simpson Desert

There are over 1100 dunes to cross on the Simpson - there's one in Extras - with the bright red sand that's right through the Simpson, east to west. More to come!
There's a camping pic by a salt lake too, in Extras. It's about the 3rd salt lake past Poeppel Corner, which we passed through about lunchtime.

The flies are bad. Even M. wore a flynet, which I've never seen him do before.
We've been swapping vehicles and drivers. It's fun driving in the boys' vehicle. Very grunty!
