Rainbows Over Wanaka

Okay, we arrived in Wanaka after lunch and cruised the main street as you do. Set down for a bit of shopping and of course coffee before taking the cameras out for a whirl.

It is my first time here but have always wanted to go to Warbirds over Wanaka - next time I will try and coincide the two but for now TeeJay and I went hunting for the tree in the lake. We found it and took some great shots but then I turned back and saw the rainbow - I have uped the saturation to give it a bit more wow but that is all.

We are still getting lightning and thunder with the obligatory downpour of water as I type and it always reminds me that a rainbow is the promise that God will not flood the world again.
