Late Sunshine

Half an hour after I took this rain was pounding down. I'm so glad I saw the Red Admirals today - there were lots of them in the Walled Garden at Harestanes, enjoying the michaelmas daisies against the brick wall. I wish I hadn't forgotten the memory card for the camera, I had to use my phone and tiptoe into the border to get close enough.

It has been a day of doing little bits of admin. We're off to the Lakes tomorrow, not very far. Which is just as well, as the packing is as yet unstarted. The forecast isn't encouraging, so it will be books rather than boots, I think.
