Roman latrines.

AJ47 felt obliged to test the Roman latrines when we visited Vaison today. It must have been an amazing place in its Roman heyday. Stunning villas with beautiful courtyards and gardens, baths, underfloor heating, and elaborate mosaic floors. Lots of impressive streets and shops. Great to visit again. When I was a child my family camped amongst the Roman remains before Vaison realised what treasures it had. We played in the amphitheatre and explored the walls and toilets even then!!
