Midweek Macro .....

....... no birds today but a very early morning macro of the seedhead of a Golden Rod stem (Solidago) from my garden ..... I've had my eye on these for a few weeks and today seemed a good day.
Each little "head" measures less than 1.0 cm (0. 4") across .......... the usual suspects used - black background and a small torch to enhance the subject!!!
