A walk through Malmö

After the rain of yesterday we woke to a lovely sunny day.  We had a leisurely start, but eventually roused ourselves enough to head out into the city.  

We walked through the streets, heading towards the city library.  En route, we came across this rather impressive sculpture outside the opera house.  Called Tragos, it has a multitude of opera characters in the bottom, water shooting up the middle, and fire on the top.

We then walked down through Kungsparken, admiring the lovely trees, before heading back to Z's apartment.  

We finished off with a meal out with Z at a local restaurant, and a chance to chat with her about her plans.

As I write this late morning on the 10th, we're still waiting to hear if R and G's bid for the house they liked has been successful.  

We're meeting R with the boys in a couple of hours.
