Old and New

I've had a very productive day. I finished off an element of my furniture painting, then after lunch headed down to the cemetery to see if there were any fungi. Last year was very poor down there - no wax caps at all, and not a great deal of anything else. It was much better today. There were, appropriately for a cemetery, plenty of these Weeping Widows (Lacrymaria lacrymabunda) as usual, and a first record for this site, spectacularly coloured  Orange Peel Fungus (Aleuria aurantia) in Extras
